OSI Long Course Swimming Championships 2026
The Central Coast Swim Club swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 OSI Long Course Swimming Championships, achieving personal bests, team records, and a state medal.
Easton Greger earned a bronze medal with a third-place finish in the 50-meter 8 & Under Freestyle. His remarkable 4.24-second improvement from his previous best time was a key factor in his podium finish. He also finished 4th in the 50 Meter Breaststroke.
Jeremiah Busenitz also had an impressive meet, posting a personal best time and setting a new Central Coast Swim Club team record in the 50-meter 9 Year Old Freestyle. His performance earned an 11th-place finish and a state championship ribbon.
Rebecca LeDoux continued her strong season by recording personal best times and establishing new Central Coast Swim Club records in all three of her events. Competing in an older age group this year provided a new level of competition, and she achieved a 19th-place finish in the 10 year age group 100-meter Breaststroke.
Congratulations to Easton, Jeremiah, and Rebecca on representing Central Coast Swim Club with determination, sportsmanship, and excellence at the Oregon State Championships!
"We'll leave the light on for you"
Makena and Maddi from the Shasta Y Sharks Swim Team in Redding, California, stopped by the Reedsport pool during their vacation and swam a few sets with Rebekah of the Central Coast Swim Club. It was great to have them join us for a fun practice and to share some time in the water. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again!
Congratulations Rebekah!
Congratulations to swimmer Rebekah LeDoux (BEK)! Earlier this month, Rebekah earned first-place finishes in both the 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke at the AAA Summer Blast Long Course Invitational in Albany, Oregon. She also achieved qualifying times for the USA Swimming Oregon State Championships, which will be held in Tualatin, Oregon, this July.
We are proud of Rebekah's hard work and accomplishments, and we look forward to cheering her on at the State Championships!
